The Catalogue Guys...
We have been in the Desktop Publishing business for over 20 years. We have seen it grow from the days of manually laying out black & white laser prints and bromides, preparing photography sessions involving shooting to film and developing though to the digital environment we all now find ourselves in.
Some of our clients are multi-national organisations with distribution chains throughout Australia and overseas. We work with them to produce catalogues, HUGE CATALOGUES - some with over 7,000 product lines and 500 pages. Our photography studio in the Hills district - has shot more than 10,000 products since we started.
We cater for catalogue development at Retail and Wholesale level not only on large 500 plus page documents but right down to 8 to 10 page fliers and leaflets.
Desktop publishing (also known as DTP) combines a personal computer and WYSIWYG page layout software to create publication documents on a computer for either large scale publishing or small scale local multifunction peripheral output and distribution.
The term "desktop publishing" is commonly used to describe page layout skills. However, the skills and software are not limited to paper and book publishing. The same skills and software are often used to create graphics for point of sale displays, promotional items, trade show exhibits, retail package designs and outdoor signs.
